daughters, co-owned 3 optical stores, divorced, went back to work as a stylist, and am now

In high school I thought anyone who could remember something 20 years ago was absolutely
ancient. Well I don't feel so ancient and my of my high school memories feel
like yesterday. But I'm sure 17 year olds think I'm older than dirt...
After BHS and college I returned home for a while but then my parents moved to Florida and
needless to say I moved too. I'm now living in Burlington with my husband of 10 years and
our two children 5 and 2. I still head to Beverly for an occasional family function and
must admit when I drive down MacArthur Rd it still feels like home.

I haven't made it to too many reunions, but will be there this year (25th) with
my only duaghter, Kaitlyn. I have spent these past 20 years accomplishing my
goals and will be receiving my first doctorate in about 18 months!(If only my
guidance councilor could read this). Eight years ago, I was diagnosed with and
survived cancer as well as made the best career move of my life. I have been an
English teacher for Greater Lawrence Technical High School in Andover.
Presently, I am living in Haverhill (a much quicker commute than from the city I

I returned to FRANCE at the end of the school year and attended a turism school for two
years . I got a diploma to guide through out France but I decided to work at the airport,
in Paris (CDG). I started as a hostess , checkin in passengers, and now I work on the ramp
and I supervise the unloading and the loading of the cargo , mail and bags during the

3/05 - I apologize for the demise of the www.bhs1982.com website. Shortly after the reunion, I had a change at work which significantly impacted my 'free time' and required a lot more travel. Then when the machine I was running the site on died, I didn't have the cycles to get it back up and running. I have been keeping the domain name paid up and still have the CD of pictures from the 20th reunion. I hope to get everything up and running again before summer to share the pictures. years. In '92, I moved to California. I am still working in television as the Technical

CT and NH, then Norway for 10 years. I've now lived in a college town outside
of Savannah, GA for three years where I teach low-achieving elementary school

marriage!! shocker! talk about an anniversary presant!we have been having the best
time!since we got all the "toy and travel years" out of the way(for now)we love
off shore fishing (even though you have to go 65 miles out)but it is worth it to have
fresh mahi-wahoo-and tuna in the freezer! i miss STEAMERS SOOOOOOO...... much! oysters are
really big down here but they don't compare!i work part time as a nurse at a teaching
hosp. ben teaches at a local college and is in the USCG reserve. yes, he was activated 24
hours after our son was born (who the hell would have thought!) but he is glad to serve

BHS for my 10th grade and then my family moved down to Florida. I a global
marketing director with DuPont and travel the world (regularly, unfortunately),

March 2003 -- Well, what a flashback to find this site and see all those names from class
of 82 - not to mention seeing the band folks from previous years too. Quick update:
After a few years teaching band in public schools I joined the US Air Force as a
conductor. I was stationed in San Antonio for my first two years, touring and
conducting throughout TX, NM, OK and LA, but for the last 3 have been in Washington DC as
one of the officers with The United States Air Force Band... www.usafband.com
My main responsibilities in DC are conducting most of the ceremonial requirements for the
Air Force. These include ceremonies hosted by the President, SecDef, Chief of Staf
of the AF, and foreign heads of state. I also conduct the band as we give final
honors to service men and women at Arlington National Cemetery. However, my
highlights have been when I conduct the concert band and singing sergeants on national
tours.
I've been married for 8 years and have two genius boys, Alex 5 and Nathan 3.
We’ve been back to Beverly a few times – mainly as a stopover on our way to New
Hampshire or Maine for vacation. I’ve stopped by the band room but they are
always redoing the floor and nobody’s ever there (Mr. Novak!!).
10/04 My family and I are now out in Northern California where I'm a commander
of an AF Band.

Hi everyone! I've been married (since 1990)to a great guy whom I met in an
environmental lab. We have two awesome kids, an almost 9 yr old daughter, and a 6 yr
old son, and 3 cats. After being in the lab for 10 years, I now work at home for an
environmental company (since 97), doing data validation/tech support for site assesments
and removals (well, I go in once a week...just to pick up and drop off work...not bad!).
I live in northern MA, in a quaint little town...get to Nick's Roast Beef as often

Hello Class of '82. Nice to see everyone doing so well! I'm still living in
Beverly with my wife Mary (Swett) and two girls ages 8 & 5. I now work in
Franklin, MA, with the economic downturn in electronics they closed my Haverhill facility.
I am the Director of Operations for Cookson Electronics. Mary's been home
with the kids for the past five years now and I know I have the cushier job! Hope to

12/04 - Hey Classmates, Hope all is well with everyone. I'm living in
Middleton, MA now I just had a house built. I'm married to Michelle Fitts (BHS
1984) and we have three beautiful daughters 12,9 and 4. They keep us pretty
busy. My wife stays home with the kids and I'm a Branch Manager with the

07/07 - Wow...25 years...I will be contacting many of you Cooney Field Rats, so
be careful what you wish for! I have been married to Greg Surels, Sr (BHS class
of 74) since 1990. We have 4 kids, Greg Jr 29 (his), Meghan 27 (his) Christin
24 (mine) and Rhiannon 16 (ours). Meghan and Christine have given us three
beautiful grandchildren ages 7, 4 and 10mos. There is nothing better than being
a grandparent. I received my BS in Business Administration from Emmanuel College
in Boston in 2003 and a Global MBA from Southern New Hampshire University in
June 2007! I did them both at night while working full time in the Human
Resources field. I moved to Kingston NH in December 2004 and love it a lot. I

Hi Kids!
I was laid off from my last job in the IT field and was forced to start my own business!
It's going great so far. I am working with small and home office businesses
with any computer related issues as a Microsoft Certified Engineer. I'm divorced and
engaged to a GREAT guy!! You'll get to meet him in November! No kids yet, but
soon. I'm currently living in Ayer, MA. See you in November!!
3/04 - Hello.....I'm happily remarried and working for myself as a computer consultant. No
kids yet, but hopefully soon : )) I graduated from Salem State College in 1988 as a
business student. I'm currently living in Ayer, MA and looking for a place in southern NH.

12/08 - I currently live in Exeter, NH and have a beautiful 3 year old daughter and have been married for 6 years now (not the first time : ) I just opened a daycare in Stratham, NH for up to 40 children. I did this so that I could be home with my little Julia who I plan on homeschooling. I was previously working as a computer contractor.
12/09 - I currently live in Exeter, NH; have been married (this time :) going on 7 years and have a fabulous 4 year old that I love to pieces! 2/06 - What a winter we have had or shall I say lack there of! I
am currently a teaching assistant in the Topsfield Public Schools for a
kindergarten classroom. ( I know,influencing young minds) My husband and I have
3 children the oldest of whom just turned 14. She will be a freshman at Masco in
the fall.We have been in Topsfield for 15 years and love it. I see some of you
once in a while and a few even live out here in God's country. Maybe I will
actually break my pledge to not attend a reunion and go to our 25th. I recently
attended my husbands in Danvers and it was FUN! Just a side note to all the
teachers out there who read this forum occasionally, now that I work in a
classroom I understand how you all did it for so many years. There isn't a
profession that is more rewarding IMHO!

Since graduating from Tufts in '86, I've been working in the safety & health field.
I'm currently working in the insurance industry as an accident prevention consultant. I'm
also working at a local healthclub part time. The family consists of 3 cats and 3 rabbits
but no kids. For fun, I do long distance cycling and running and lots of other outdoorsy
stuff.
8/07 - remarried in 2003, adopted our daughter Kori in 2005 (now
