Been in Oklahoma City since 1995 after retiring from a 23 1/2 year Air Force career.

1/08 - I left Beverly in 1972 and spent the next 23 1/2 years around the world with the Air Force. Nearly 16 of those years were spent enjoying worldly life opportunities in wonderful countries like The Netherlands (Holland), Spain (twice), Greenland, Panama, several months in Honduras and Germany. I also enjoyed several great places from coast to coast in the States, settling upon retirement in 1995 in Oklahoma. The people here are the best!

I began working for the Federal Aviation Administration in 1995, and in 2003 my fellow union members decided to elect me as their national representative and Regional VP on the Executive Board of the Professional Aviation Safety Specialists. I enjoy my work, a great deal. The position affords opportunities to travel to Washington, DC, and other places, which I also enjoy. I don t know of anyone that grew up with the history surrounding us in Beverly that doesn t thrive in that part of our lives, so visiting the DC area is always a pleasure.

I was married, but after 27 years it was time to find happier places in our lives. We didn t have any children, so I learned to enjoy spoiling other people s kids.

I settled in a new home this last May, and to help everyone appreciate the differences, my five year old three bedroom 1900 sq foot home with an office, two-car garage and 3/4 length east-facing (important for evenings free from a scorching summer evening sun) patio was $157K. My sister Vickie visited before Thanksgiving and was shocked by the value of such a nice place.  Vickie still lives at and now owns the home where we grew up on Cabot St.

My last visit to Beverly was August 2005. Now that life has settled I m sure I ll get back home more often.

Hello classmates.  I'm here in Alaska for 22+ years now.  Came up for a "year" in 1981 and was captured by the raw beauty & wilderness just outside of local Anchorage.  (Check out our web site for scenic pictures.)  Have always been in the human service field and am currently working as a clinical staff person at Anchorage's largest mental health center working with severely & persistently mentally ill people.  I am a gay man and am lucky enough to share my life with my partner of 9 years, Daniel.  We both love to collect, garden, entertain friends, & ski.   Where family is important to us both, we assist as we can & get home to the Northshore once a year.  I really enjoyed seeing those at the 30th reunion.   Drop me an email.

I have been married for twenty-five years to Jeff Howland (DHS '69). We have a son (US Navy; married with two girls; lives in VA) and a daughter (engaged - still at home.) We have lived in Danvers for about 13 years. Three years ago I was reunited with the son I relinquished for adoption. He lives in Brooklyn, NY and has two children (boy/girl.) Jeff and I love being grandparents!

5/09 - Wow, that last blurb was almost 10 years old!  Well, I was married for 29 years to Jeff Howland (DHS '69), we divorced in 2003. We have two cildern, Lisa & Jeff.  I also have a son, Gerry, who I was reunited with in 1995, he and his family live in Long Island, NY.  I have seven grandchildren spanning from 3 years of age to 17.  I currently live in Haverhill and for the past 25 years have worked at NSCC.

Hey classmates! Barb and I are in Plymouth in our house that over looks the ocean. (Never take anything for granted) The kids continue to drive us crazy!!! (I don't know which one is worse, the 20 year old or the 14 year old!) I am the General Manager/Acela Program for the Amtrak High Speed Rail service between Boston, New York and Washington, DC) for my company. Travel alot from Boston to New York and Washington. Part of the job, but I enjoy it. Still boating and enjoying life.(that is really all that matters) Life is to short, but remember, life is what you make of it! Stay in touch.

11/04 - Well, much has changed! After three years, Sept. 11th attacks caught up to me.(My company serviced airlines and Amtrak) Company had to downsize and go through a realignment process and I would have ended up in Washington, DC had I not come to my senses and resigned. (DC is not a place to live, been there, done that)I now work for a company in Newburyport in distribution and logistics. It is a fair commute from Plymouth, but you do what you have to in this day and age. Megan (daughter-22) moved out, moved back, moved out and moved back in again. Jay (son-16) still playing drums and guitar and will be a junior at Plymouth South High School next year - scheduled to graduate in 2007. I hope all that reads this are well and safe. I divorced in 1990 and oh no I was insane enough to marry again in 1999. I was a stay at home mom and went back to school when I got divorced and became a registered nurse. I live in Rowley but my heart is still in Beverly. I play volleyball in Beverly. I also coached girls softball grades 3-5 for about 11 years. Comments: After one snowflake too many, my husband Paul Costello (married 1990 - no children) and I ran away to South Florida where we have been living in the Ft. Lauderdale area since 1997. After a brief stint at Mass. College of Art and some time as an American Airlines flight attendant, I moved into real estate - negotia-tion, design and construction for commercial portfolios for international companies. Paul, who also works for American Airlines, and I have traveled to Australia, Greece, Turkey, Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, and lots of other places.  With the improved weather conditions down here (vs. New England) we enjoy sailing, snorkling, golf and being "beach slugs." We moved to Cape Cod in Nov. 1997 when we bought the Cove Bluffs Motel in Eastham. Tom and I enjoy the independance of being self-employed after spending 11 years doing the "rat race" thing in New Hampshire. We have two great kids, Jenna (13) and Karl (10). We usually travel to Europe and out West as a stress reliever in the off season and drove all over Scandinavia last April. I went into the Navy right after HS ( Nov 71 ). Spent 6 years going to electronics school and traveling all over the globe.
Most of my time I was stationed on tropical Islands Midway,in the Pacific and GTMO in the "Caribbean" (how do you spell that???)
My last year i spent aboard a small ship out of Norfolk, Va. I met my wife Debora in Norfolk, Va and we were married in 1976.We got out of the Navy in 1979 and have been an Technician and now Engineer ever since. Deb & I are Celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary in August 2006.( Do Trees live this long???lol) We have 2 beautiful daughters 26 & 21. The youngest got married this past year. I currently work for SUN Microsystems as a Component Engineer in Burlington, Ma. Deb and i have lived in Norfolk, Va. the island of Guam in
Micronesia, Eureka, Ca in the redwood trees, then back to Beverly, then Tulsa Ok for a year of further schooling.
Then back to Beverly for a year. We moved to Woburn, Ma.for a few years and then bought our 1st home in Chelmsford, Ma. Once the girls went off to school we sold our house and bought a smaller place where we now live in Merrimack, NH. We have not attended any of the reunions so far as we have not been in the area but we are thinking about going to the next on. YES i am still riding Motorcycles and i am alot less geeky than i used to be ( in case you were wondering ) Does anyone know if there is a 35th year reunion this year??? Enjoyed seeing everyone at the 30th reunion. Glad to see so many great friends from B house and the Band. After BHS, graduated from BC, worked a few years in Boston sports radio before finding my true profession in financial planning. I earned my CFP in 1986 and am a senior in an investment management and financial planning firm - Compass Capital Corp- in Newton. I stay active outdoors with sailing, skiing, saltwater sportfishing and golf.

7/06 - what can you say when sa few old friends rememeber your name as Stanley 35 years ago.
nothing much has changed in the plast 5 years; still have the same sailboat and Red Sox tickets (sec 20). I moved my financial planning office to the Boston financial district last year after 20 years in Newton.

Hi, It's been a few years so I figure there must be something worthwhile to write, right? Well here goes - Barbara (Pinkham) and I have been married for twenty -three years and are living in Eliot, Maine with our three kids. Michael(20)- a Pre-Med/Bio Junior, Stefanie(18) - an Early Childhood Education Freshman, and Sarah(9) - going on nineteen..... I've been working at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for almost 25 years - yes, I traded my torn army jacket in for the navy version (civilian). Well it's hard to believe it, but I'm looking forward to retirement in about nine years. My plans are to become a ski bum, Barbara is working on the honey-to-do list. Life is full of trade-offs and compromise, time will tell. We have been enjoying it here near the Maine seacoast. Beaches in summer and traveling to Sugarloaf in the winter. Barbara just finished her Masters as a Reading and Writing Specialist. She teaches reading recovery and half-time pre-school. Me, I just wanted to understand more about the cold war and became a Nuclear Engineer. Well that about sums up life after Beverly High - Hope all is well with whoever reads this - take care - and maybe we'll see you at a reunion someday.

9/1/02  Not much to update - the kids are getting older; Stef's a senior now and Mike's in his second year at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.  Sarah keeps us busy and our newest addition, a West Highland White Terrier, is always looking for attention.

8/08 - Accepting an early retirement package at SYLVANIA.  My goal reached to retire at age 55.  Going to enjoy my free time (been working since high school - no breaks).  Start looking for a fun part-time job in January, 2009 (or later)......:)  Still in Salisbury - son now age 12!   Hubby still around.

8/08 - Retiring next month.  Early retirement package offered to many employees and I'm definitely taking this opportunity.  Looking forward to retirment and working part-time - stress free. 

10/08 - Retired....Age 55 - like I said.  Will enjoy some time off before looking for something part-time and FUN.  Life is good.

I graduated from Houghton College in '75 with a music degree, married, and stayed in the Finger Lakes Region of upstate NY.  It is beautiful here but it does not have an ocean.  That and the terrific fish restaurants are what I miss most.  I divide my time between my family (husband, Jim & 3 children now in law school & college)and work outside the home.  Currently I am an early intervention specialist for kindergarten and first grade. During the summers I teach at a local prison for adolescnt females just to keep my perspective on things.  Yes, I still sing quite frequently in church and for and with my students.

I have lots of fond memories of Beverly. Unfortunately I've lost contact over the years. I was able to make one reunion a long time ago and enjoyed seeing alot of old friends. The last 28 years have really flown by. It seems like yesterday that 4 or 5 of us enlisted in the Air Force and were in basic training together. (Bobby Joslin...you out there anywhere?) After 8 years service all over the world, I'd had all the fun I could stand. After the military I was fortunate enough to land a job in the Carolina's that lead to a work-study type program in nuclear engineering. Since then I spent 5 years operating nuclear power plants and the last 12 doing claims and engineering work for companies specializing in nuclear insurance. I currently live in Dublin Ireland and travel extensively throughout the EU inspecting nuclear power stations. For those of you who remember (or care); I married my high school sweetheart from Lynnfield, Pam. We have 4 grown daughters and 2 grandsons. Would love to hear from some old friends. I have often wondered about what ever happened to Danny Geary, Bobby Richards, Mr Lapsly and Mr Rizio...anyone know?

After several frustrating years as human cannonball in Las Vegas the head circus clown convinced me to make a run for it. After a long hiatus in a Turkish prison, I'm now safe at home on Cape Cod where I pretend to be a Software Engineer. My children (Timmy 18 and Caroline 15) and wife (Patricia) still think I work for a living, so please keep this amongst us Alumni. I've skipped a few reunions so you probably forget who I am. 10/18/01 - Additional Info: If you go to this web page ( http://www.geocities.com/emact2000 ) and click on "Jesus Christ Superstar" - scroll down a bit and you'll see a familiar face. Notice my big mouth has not changed! I did this show in a competition. My husband played guitar in the pit. We did not win but it was awesome doing this show and I got some nice words said about me. I just did "The King and I" and was able to meet up with Warren Small again. Also got to tour a Acela train with John Bryson at Amtrak! You should see it! I'll see you at the reunion. I just have to remember to mail in my check!

9/04 - We have moved to Port St. Lucie, FL, home of the hurricanes: Frances, Ivan and Jeanne!  We love it here when it is not crazy with the weather.  We have been very lucky with little damage and we have stayed safe in our new home.

I am doing the same job/same company selling promotional items and I am acting at a local theater.  Also will be performing at the Florida Renn Fest in February.  We are very happy and would love to hear from anyone who comes to visit the area. 

7/09 - Still in South Florida teaching theatre and loving it.  Facebook has been wonderful to connect with old classmates.  Husband works for Homeland Security and we are both disaster junkies.  We are DAT volunteers for the American Red Cross.  2 daughters in NH, no grandkids.  Please drop me an email of join FB.

06/09 - Hi, all!  I recognize a lot of you and am sorry about the deaths. My 3 sons seem to be "anti-marriage, anti-children."  Oh well, less for me to worry about, huh? They were spawned from my first marriage, and I was foolish enough to marry a second time!  No more after this one! The boys are Dana 34, Matthew 32 and Jamey 29.  They happen to be the greatest kids in the world, so the first marriage was worth the trouble!
