John Cougar Melloncamp song! I'm employed as a general manager for a printing
machinery manufacturer in Middleton and have had the opportunity to travel
the World and meet some great people! It's sad to say that I have been rather

I've been married since August 29, 1971 - 32 years this month (as I post). We have 3 children - 2 are married and 1 is getting married in March of 2004. We have 2 grandsons.   We moved to S. Florida 6 years ago and currently reside in Coral Springs, Florida. 8/08 - I still live in Beverly have been married to Patrick for 24 years and have 2 boys both graduates of BHS ages 20 and 22.My husband graduated from St. John's prep in 1969 and grew up in Salem. I've worked for the Beverly School System for 15 years and have been at Briscoe as a paraprofessional for 10 years and love it!!!

Happily living in Western Mass, having attended U.Mass, Amherst, and meeting my husband, Chet, there.  Happily married for 30 years with three wonderful children (Kelly, Eric & Jason) and three beautiful grandchildren (Cailyn, sophis and Matthew) who are all the light of my life. Work for Baystate Health System (17 years) in Springfield MA as Manager of Business Systems Support.  Love to travel...look forward to all of my business trips and also to January vacations in the Caribbean, a tradition since our 25th anniversary.  The kids can't understand why we are frittering away their inheritance...

10/09 - Now married 35 years, still working at Baystate Health (22 years) as Business Systems Manager.  Three children are all doing well and grandchildren Cailyn, Sophia and Matthew are growing like weeds. Life in Western Mass is wonderful, except during fall foliage when we have to avoid the highways.

Hi!  I've been married to Randy DeTrude since June 1970.  We have twin sons Jeffrey and Jeremy who are now 37 years of age.  Jeffrey is married 15 years with 3 soons.  Jeremy is married 14 1/2 years with one daughter!  I currently live in Littleton, NH with Randy who is Pastor of Light of Christ Fellowship in Littleton.  I work as a paraeducator at Lakeway Elementary School in Littleton.  I visit Beverly often.  My Mom is widowed and still resides there.  I love going "home".  One connection to the past is my brother Earl who works at Henry's and always keeps me informed of the "goings on" in Beverly.  Randy and I look forward to the reunion!!!  I'm sure there'll be lots to share.

I have lived in Danvers for the last 19 years after living in Salem since 1975 when I was married.  I have 2 beautiful  daughters: Jessica is 28, a RN Nurse Manager at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls NY. Her husband of 3 years is attending college in Albany to become a Physical Therapist. They both met and graduated from University of New England in Maine.  She is expecting her first child in January.  Melissa, is 25 and has a 3 year old daughter, my 1st grandchild.  I am a 3 year breast cancer survivor.  I work as an Assistant Project Manager for a construction company in Newburyport.  (For those of you who were close friends of mine, knew my brother...Eddie,and were his friend also. He passed away this past May 6, 2007.  They found out in April after being ill for 1 1/2 years that he had a condition called Amyloydosis.) GOD Bless

6/4 - I am now living in York, ME in my new house and love it up here.  Since my last posting my oldest daughter turned 31 April 1st and my youngest daughter turned 28 on April 25th, my grand-daughter turned 6 April 8th and my grand-son turned 2 on January 23rd.  I am now a 6 year survivor of breast cancer and got laid off on May 17, 2009.....almost a year now.

12/08 - Hi everyone! I am living in Port Charlotte, FL in semi-retirement from the Coast Guard. I substitute teach here. It's encouraging to see so many who have lasted through years of marriage. Just an update to all fellow classmates that Rich and I are alive and kicking in Beverly. I have been part of our Class
Reunions with Paula (Petronzio) Scanlon and Arlene Pero for the past 35 years and we are proud to announce that our
next reunion is scheduled for November 27, 2004, at the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club in Beverly. This date coincides
with the Thanksgiving Weekend, so we should have another great turnout. For those of you who are still in touch in
Beverly, you will know that I have been a successful Realtor in this area for the past 30 years and have recently joined
RE/MAX with my son, Michael who is a Massachusetts Maritime Graduate in Environmental Protection, thus is a
great benefit to me with Title 5 Septic Regulations as well as his great technical skills. My husband Rich is a longtime
Beverly Firefighter and President of the Beverly Union so he is very involved in this City as well. Our daughter lives in
Salisbury Vermont and is employed at Middlebury College and her husband is from the area and employed as a
teacher/coach for Middlebury High School, so they have a great life up in the mountains. Michael is married to his
high school sweetheart, Kathryn McLaughlin, and they have three incredible children, whom Rich and I adore and get to
be with them almost daily as they have a home in Beverly as well. So that is my humble life 35 years after BHS. Beverly is
still a great place to be from and a wonderful area to be associated with now. We hope many of you will be able to
attend this year's reunion as they really are a lot of fun for the evening. Take care to all and stay healthy!!

6/08 - Although I attended BHS, I left for NH in August of 1968. Graduated from Timberlane Regional HS in June 1969. Moved to South Dakota in July of '74. I found my soulmate in September 1988, losing her to cancer in April, 1999. I've traveled the entire U.S & Canada, owned a computer business, and have been a professional drummer (43 years), bassist (19 years), and vocalist. I met a wonderful lady almost 8 years ago. She will graduate in 2010 from Walden University with a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She maintains the best revenge is to live happy and well, because it infuriates your enemies. After almost 57 years, I couldn't agree more. I retired early from the race (2003) and play music mostly around the Midwest now. At long last, life is finally very good!

Hello people.

It's a warm summer Friday (July 2007) in Downeast Maine. I got a little bored with my work as an administrator at the University of Maine at Machias and began surfing the 'net and ended up here. Looking at folks' postings I get the idea that there are a million stories about the BHS class of '69.

People close to me say I have not had a career, they say I have had a careen! Starting out as a diary farmer, in and out of school, winding up with a doctorate and responsible for the education of others. Who would have thought that some many long years ago when my greatest accomplishment was completing two days in a row without detention.

This afternoon I have thought about people, places and things that have not crossed my mind in ages. Some of it was pretty interesting.
My wife Kathleen and I have two places here in Maine. One in Whitneyville (near Machias) and another in Old Orchard Beach. We have 7 kids - she donated four and I three from previous encounters.

If I ever figure out what I want to be when I grow up I'll log back in here and let you folks know.

Perhaps a 2009 reunion would be an event in which to participate.

2/11 - Still living in Down East Maine. Working as Director of Education and Programs at a community learning center based on the Danish folkschool model. Still married with Kathleen (Saint Kathleen the Patient) and tend to our group of Border Collies - the seven kids are off tending to the world. I look back at time in Beverly with no regrets and I truly enjoyed the folks I went to high school with. I hope we all continue to grow older with grace and honor.
