1967 seems like such a long time ago....and here I am still living in Beverly! I have been at Landmark School since it opened in 1971, having met the founder while still a student at Bates. Other than a couple of years at the American International School in Israel, I have had a wonderful opportunity at Landamrk, doing many different jobs, and have been Headmaster since 1990. My wife Jan is a teacher/artist, my son Josh, now 26, teaches at Landmark, and we have three girls at home - Molly (15), Emma (10), and our foster-daughter Margot (15). After graduating from Maine Maritime Academy in 1971, I entered the Coast Guard and was stationed in Seattle, Washington and Providence, Rhode Island. After getting out in 1975, I moved back to Seattle, where I went to work for the American Bureau of Shipping; married Barbara Tillman of Bakersville, CA. and raised two children, Andrew(19) and Addy(16). In 1995, we moved to Spokane, Washington, in order to provide the kids with a better High School experience. Due to a lack of ships here, I have changed professions and am now working with computer support and networking. It is interesting and exciting, but challenging starting from the bottom up in a new field.

My name is Kathy, My mom gave me the consent to add her to this site. although she didnot actually graduate with the class she should have. The fact is she got pregnant and decided to keep me. After my birth she went back to school but was denied an education with the Beverly Public School System because she did not choose to give me up. Today she has myself, my sister Michelle and 3 beautiful grandsons ranging from ages 10-2years of age. She now resides in sunny S.C. and has her own business as an interior decorator. As for her children, we are both succesful people owning our own homes and raising our children to be the best they can be. All I can say is thank god she did the right thing and raised me to be a caring person. By the way I will be 35 on 5/2 and my mon is the best!!! I love her with all my heart. I am so glad to see that times have changed! I am a 1983 graduate of Beverly High.

The 35th was a blast. it was worth every one of the 2800 mile round trip drive. and breakdown on way home. thanx for your after hours hospitality jennifer. nice place. may we all be well enough to attend 40th. it may not matter, however, won both heat race and feature race this past sat. still driving race cars. been married for 18 years and living in fla.

12/03 - raced for last time on oct. 18 and won. have given up racing and bought a motorcycle. still in fla and hope to visit beverly this summer.

8/04 - 15 years in fla. is enough. wife and i plan to move back to n.h.  next summer 2005 coos county area. any realtors out there?

1/05 -  bought a small house in a small town in n.h. called stark. it has a famous covered bridge and more moose than people. florida home is on the market. plan to move this summer. wont be able to ride motorcycle as much as in fla. the problem is my addiction to auto racing. there is a speedway only 8 miles away in groveton. i miss driving race cars immensely.

6/05 - Well, made it to small town america. stark, n.h. a place where your next door neighbor is a moose, deer, wild turkey etc. however, it is a lot colder than fla. still have home in fla. and not sure if i want to sell. will visit old home beverly this summer.

2/08 - I was traveling thru lewiston, maine in sept and the 3/4 size vietnam memorial wall was in town. i do remember 3 beverly people killed in that war and i penciled their names. can anyone tell me how i can mail them to their families. the families involved were named hubis,hellard, and small? thank you. i can be reached at 603-636-9810 or email.

The 35th was great.  Intimate, the women beautiful and enjoyed talking to everyone.    Music and dancing fun.  After hours party was great.  Suggestion for 40th - have a Defibrillator near the dance floor just in case.  I seem to act young when I'm around you guys!

03/07 - I can't believe it's been 40 years!!!! been writing and publishing poetry, was named poetry ambassador of the USA in 06. My grandson Chris is now 17,and is a senior and graduating from BHS in June, 3rd generation to graduate from the "old Almamata". Makes me feel old. Hi all,  Didn't know about this web site - hope to hear from you.  Married 30yrs, to a wonderful guy who passed away 3 yrs. ago of cancer.  Lived in England for 3 yrs., California for 7 yrs., back to Amesbury, MA for 7 yrs., now I live in Streamwood, IL 45 min. away from Chicago.  Have 3 wonderful step-daughters and was lucky to have our one son Joe who's now 19.  I'm a teacher, middle school kids, science, social studies and now a master's in reading - at a new school this year.

I have recently moved to Falmouth on  Cape Cod.  My son(19) is attending Cape Cod Community College down here and we both work with disabled adults.  My daughters are 23 and 21 the older one lives and works in Cambridge, while the younger works in Plymouth and lives in Stoughton. We see each other often though in one place or another.  I also get to Beverly as often as possible.  I have always missed it, though I have lived away from it longer than in it by this time.

Hi everyone! I have had a great life so far. I have been living just south of Seattle, in a small town called Covington.  I have been out here for 24 years.   I'm currently a professional retiree.  My husband of 32 years and I travel all around.   We have raised two kids a son 31 and a daughter 26 both are married.  No grandchildren yet!  I'm hoping to make the reunion.  See you soon.

After years of living in and around Boston, I find myself back in Essex County, living in North Andover and working in Methuen.  I'm in my second career, as a pathologist at Holy Family Hospital, after starting out as a research scientist.
I'm married to a Southern Belle from Louisiana (4 years) and I have a 16-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.  My wife's daughter had a baby boy last year, so now I'm a grandpa!
Would love to be in touch with old classmates!

8/15/02 - My wife and I had a blast at the reunion this past weekend!  It was great to see so many old friends.  What a super nice group of people we turned out to be!  I thought everybody looked great, and the room was full of more energy than our kids would expect from a group of fifty-somethings.

Special thanks to Chris Edwards Wiley and everyone else who worked so hard to make this happen.  Thanks also to those who traveled long distances to be with us; their presence helped to make it special.

After 25+ years in Human Resources I did a major career shift.  Quit my job as HR Director of an agency serving people with mental retardation and wound up going back to school to get my K-8 teaching certificate.  I've taught one year of 6th grade in a city school and this past year a 4th grade in a more rural setting.  I am LOVING it!!!  I hope to be able to pop into the reunion but my schedule this summer is tight.  Hope to hear from some of you from our class!!

I left Beverly High in March of '67 when my Dad relocated (one year only) to Fall River--even though I officially graduated from DURFEE--Beverly High is what I consider my High School---I have lived in Merrimac, Mass. 30 years now and have two fine grown sons--Jesse, graduated in 1997 from Boston College and is living in St. Louis now--even cheered for the Patriots--in Rams country! Ben lives in Flagstaff, AZ -- graduated from Wake Forest in 1998 and just got his MA at Northern Arizona University in Psychology with PhD a near future plan-----I am an RN and have worked with troubled children on In-patient psychiatric settings and residential school settings---currently at St. Ann's Home in Methuen---looking forward to another reunion and hearing from old friends.

Hello folks. I was in the class of 67, but moved away from Beverly in 1966.  Although I didn't get a chance to graduate with you all, I do have many many memories of friends.   So, I thought I'd sign up anyway, just to hear from everyone.  Me?  I've had an interesting 37 years.  From Beverly, I moved to Minneapolis, then on to college in New Jersey and grad school in City & Regional Planning at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Got married to Carole in 1972.  Moved back to Minneapolis; stayed there for 16 years; then moved to San Francisco California in 1989, just in time to experience the earthquake.  
I've lived in the Bay area ever since.  I'm currently the Director of Strategic Planning for the Port of Oakland, CA;  Still married to Carole - no kids, but lots of travelling and sailing adventures.
