Hi - After graduating from Katie Gibbs in 1965, lived and worked in Boston for three years, moved to San Francisco for three years, married and moved back to Beverly late 1970 to early 1975; two sons, Tyler (now 29) and Matthew (now 28) born in Beverly.  Moved back to California (San Juan Capistrano) where I lived for 26 years. Owned and operated an antique co-operative for five years from 1980-85. Remarried to Le in 1998 and now living in Canby, OR - retired, restoring our 1920 home and gardening - love it!  Currently in Southern California again to pack up and move my mother to Oregon.  Older son Tyler getting married in Hawaii on October 26, so will miss the reunion.  Still get 'homesick' for Beverly. Have a great time!

Been in New York City for past 11 years, choreographing and performing (actually for 15 years, in New York, Russia, Asia, New England, etc.) with a parallel day job in fundraising for nonprofit arts organizations including The Town Hall, the sister concert hall to Carnegie; an orchestra and the Broadway theater union. I've been living in N Richland Hills (DFW) since 1999, when I left Orange County California after 27 years.  Most of my travel is back to California to visit family with occasional trips back east to New Haven to deal with Alumni activities at Yale.   I spent 5 years as Alumni President when I lived in Orange, California and remain active.  I am currently an actuary in Long Term Care Insurance.  I am in good health after an extremely severe health crisis in November of 2001 and feel lucky to be alive.

I was so looking forward to our class reunion but have a family wedding that same day in Maryland.  I live in Ormond Beach, FL with my husband of 31 years (John) and our 20 year old daughter, Amanda (only child).  Amanda will be starting her junior year at a Florida university in the fall.  I grew up in Wenham and used to visit at least once a year.  My parents moved to Florida 7 years ago and I haven't been "home" since, although John makes the trip every year to visit his parents in Hamilton.  I'm still using that wonderful knowledge instilled by Miss Miner at good ole BHS!!  I'm a Sr. Staff Assistant at the community college in Daytona Beach. I notice that some of you have grandchildren, but hopefully that's a long way off for us.  Would love to hear from anyone.

I've landed in the fast-paced pharmaceutical industry, doing communications for women's health care products (both ends of the reproductive system: contraception and menopause).   A 'media maven' most of my career, I've publicized everything from ski boots, kitchen floors, automotive air and oil filters to chemicals before the world of drugs.   My home is in Morristown, NJ, just one hour out of NYC.  Enjoy popping in and out of the city yet relaxing in a town that has a real sense of community.  Am involved in environmental, political and cultural causes in my off-work hours.

After graduating from Salem State in 1967, I taught elementary school in Clinton, Connecticut for 13 years. I married Allan Nyman (a Beverly High School graduate)in 1970. In 1980 we moved to Port Charlotte, Florida where I continued to teach in an elementary school. I am now teaching computer literacy to elementary students. Unfortunately, Allan died of cancer in 1999. I have not been back to Beverly for several years, and thoroughly enjoyed the Beverly High Alumni site and look forward to reading about more of my classmates in the future.

Hi folks, I had a terrific time at the reunion on October 12, 2002 at Woodman's in Essex.   A great cruise and reunion there too.  Time has done great things for us.   I joined the United States Air Force
right after graduation and headed for Lackland AFB, in San Antonio TX.
I began my career as an Airpoliceman for two years, and cross trained
to Administration and completed 20 years and retired with the Air Force Meritorios Service Medal and honorably discharged on Oct 3, l983.  We live in San Antonio Texas.  I married Irma J. Boyd from Erick Oklahoma in July 1966.  We have two children , John Christopher, 35 and Tracy Elizabeth (Kovatch), 32.  Chris has three wonderful kids, Jonathan W. 13, Emilee  11, and Hannah 3.  They live within a mile of us.   My daughter lives with in 1 and 1/2 of us. She is married to John Kovatch, and they have two wonderful guys, Jordan C, 9 and Hayden A. age 6.  We are really blest.
My wife and I were able to be at the reunion this year and had a great time.  Kathy did a terrific job.  E-mail us and let us know where you are.  If ever you come to San Antonio, look us up or e-mail us and we can "show you the town."

11/02 - We want to thank all who were responsible for a terrific reunion.   This was the first reunion we could attend and I might add, after 39 years, some of you have changed alot.  My memory was a little weak to say the least.  We all work for the USAA Insurance firm in San Antonio Texas; Irma, with l8 years is a Sr. Policy Rep, I, with 5 years, am a Driver/Chaufer, our son, Chris with l0 years is a Manager with USAA's Life Company and our daughter, Tracy with 5 years, works in Life Company's Medical Claims and last but not least, John ,our son in law,with 5 years, works in USAA's New Member Aquisitions. We found out that some of you have USAA insurance as we shared what we were doing now.

3/04 - I retired from the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health in October 2003 taking an early retirement offer. I am active in various political and social organizations and try to stay physically active. The recent second annual BHS sports hall of fame was a wonderful experience,both to see some classmates I had not seen for many years,the 400+ gatherings, and the well-deserving inductees.

We both teach at the University of Texas-Brownsville, and will receive a Ph.D. in American Literature in July2000--you *can* teach an old dog new tricks!!

10/02 - In the summer of 2002, I was offered a teaching position at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York.  Both Lori and I welcomed the opportunity to return to the Northeast and enthusiastically moved to Utica in August.   Utica reminds me a lot of the Beverly of my youth; blue-collar, multi-cultural, and full of little mom-and-pop restaurants with delicious Italian food -- in short, Beverly before the yuppies arrived!  We are also very pleased to be only five hours (instead of five days!) from the North Shore, and 10 hours from our home in Eastern Maine.

Since leaving Beverly High, I spent 2 years England at part of my assingment for the USAF. I was stationed at RAF Wethersfield in Essex, England. I had a 3 year assignment there, but voluntered to go to Viet Nam, cut my tour in England by one year and went to Viet Nam, I was a Commication Specialist. When I returned to the U.S. (after receiving the Air Force Commendation Medal, and a Honerable Discharge). I was contacted by the U.S. State Department. I became a Communication Officer with the Diplomatic Corps, my first assignment was Nairobi, Kenya, following a 2 year posting working at the American Embassy, I was sent to Bangkok, Thailand. While I was in Bangkok I was sent to Viet Nam again (TDY) to open a Consulate General in Bien Hoa. After leaving the State Dept, I returned to the U.S. and got a job with TWA. I work in Boston as a reservationist, then went to Logan Airport as a Passenger Relations Representative, from there I left and went to their Kansas City (Administration Base) and was an Automation Coordinator. I assisted travel agents with Software and Hardware problems with TWA's reservations system (PARS now known as Worldspan). After leaving Kansas I applied for a job at the Corporate Offices in New York City. There I was a Sr. Customer Relations Representative. Worked one year in New York, then applied for a position in Seattle WA, as a Sale Manager. Love Washington, made it my permanent home. Subsequently, TWA was doing poorly and was offering Managers with ten or over years with TWA to leave, and the incentive was a lifelong pass with TWA. After leaving TWA, I secure a job with SpaceLabs Medical, Inc. where I was their Corporate Travel Services Mgr. So obviously, I missed all of the class 1963 reunions. Recently I found my Beverlega Year book, which brought back some wonderful memories of Beverly High and my classmates. I would love to know when the next reunion is scheduled. I will definitely be there.

I've lived in Colorado since shortly after college graduation.  After an enjoyable career as an academic librarian at University of Colorado at Denver (with a stint spent working at a British university, on a job exchange with a librarian there), I'm retiring this fall.  My job gave me the opportunity to write and have published two reference books, with a third one due out in early 2003 - my first post-retirement project will be finishing that up.

I married John Leopold in 1990.  He's a judge in the District Court of Colorado, currently hearing criminal cases.  My mother still lives in Beverly, so I visit at least once a year and keep up with some classmates.  It's been fun to hear about others through this website.

Moved back home to Fitchburg, Ma. three years ago to experience the "seasonal changes" again that we missed all these years.  Clyde graduated from Johnson and Wales College {in the top 10% of his class} for Culinary Arts in Providence RI and has worked as a "chef" at the Marriott, Sawgrass hotel in Jacksonville. I got involved with Theatrical Costuming and performing in the 1980's, mostly for non-profits and especially for Gilbert and Sullivan operettas.  At present, I'm the Costume Rental Agent for the Sudbury Savoyards, Membership officer (and database manager) for the New England Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and on the Music Committee at First Parish in Bedford, U.U.A, where I sing in the choir.  I've had to limit my activites in the past years due to nerve damage in my feet and lower back that handicapped my walking and driving.

Sorry I couldn't make the reunion last October. People that I spoke with said it was a great time.  I am still living in Beverly. I have one son, Jeff, (32 years old) married with one granddaughter, Alyson, who was a year old February 13th, and expecting another in August.  I work at Beverly Hospital in Administration as an Executive Assistant.  My husband took the early retirement from teaching 2 years ago.  He works part time at Myopia in the golf shop.  I plan on retiring in four years when I'm 62.  Can you believe that "62", I always thought that was really old.   It was really nice reading the info about all my classmates that I haven't seen in years.  I hope I can make the next reunion to see everyone again.  Wishing you all good health and happiness.

I left Beverly in 1964, attended Boston University and Duke University with an interruption from the latter for the US Army.  I've lived in North Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee, finally settling in Maine in 1978.  I continue to work as a clinical psychologist at a medical center in Maine while living in a small town near the coast.   I have two grown children.  My wife and I enjoy sailing, hiking, gardening, and raising chickens.  Most of my life's journey I never would have predicted in 1963.

Brief biographic thread:
Dropped out of Boston University in 1964 (actually played with motorcycles that year), Corning Community College in  65, Elmira College (night school) in  66 (really 2 years with sports car culture at Watkins Glen, NY). Grew up at 21 becoming a Sergeant in the Marine Corps in a top secret classified field;  67 to  70. Married with a baby daughter, I moved where my mom and dad were here in Pittsburgh, PA. Divorced in  72. Partner in a high fidelity equipment company, Opus One, until  81. Did audio / video consulting and mail order sales until  89. Became a money manager for friends and family in a small practice that I own and still operate, Synergy Asset Management. Wonderful second wife; no children. 39 year old daughter from first marriage has blessed us with 2 grand kids. Wife Kathleen and I have been road race track officials for motor cycle and sports car racing for over 30 years. Libertarian activist since  79. Life member Marine Corps League. Full beard since 19 (except for 3 Marine Corps years) and long hair since 50. Still have hair, weight and most physical abilities since 21; still fit my uniform, though the chest and neck area are a little loose, as I had a 30  waist and 195 pounds, not 160. Question; does anyone know the whereabouts of Briscoe science teacher from  59, Mr. Raymond?

5/04 - Still living in Beverly - married to Tom ('64) for 36 years. We have three sons - Tom, Jr 34 (teacher in Ipswich), Greg 32 (CPA) and Jeff 27 (minister in Maine). They are all married. We have four grandchildren - Meghan, Patrick, Ryan, and Brendan - that make life worth living! Am still working - now as a part time secretary in the Cummings Center in Beverly.

I have been living in Southern California since 1972. Presently, we live in Camarillo which is adjacent to Malibu or one half hour south of Santa Barbara. Married to Dave (class of '62) who retired in 1999. We have three daughters (Kimberly, Lynne and Robin) and two sons (David and PJ) who reside as far south as San Diego and as far north as San Francisco. We visit family in the Beverly area 2-3 times per year.

Married Linda Laterza of Lynn Sept 1970. We have two sons, Brian (25) and Keith (19). Brian graduated from Keene (NH) State College in 1998 and Keith will be attending Massachusetts Maritime Academy this Fall. After bouncing around the country we settled in Stratham NH in 1983. I worked on major constrction projects in Venezuela, China, Saudi Arabia, and India as a Startup Engineer. I took up snowboarding five years ago and love it. In the summer we do alot of sailing on our sailboat "Seadancer" out of Porthsmouth NH. I haven't lost any hair or gained any weight since high school. Believe that? My younger sister Susan is married to Kevin Rich. Hope we have a fortieth reunion, Jesus are we getting old!
