I am retired from Harris Corporation as of last July, 1999, and enjoying every minute of it, traveling, oil painting, and gardening. Have won several awards in oil painting. Hello, everyone.  After BHS, college, graduate school, a stint as an academic, and working for the Federal government, I am currently doing international economic consulting for a firm in the Washington, DC area where I now live with, Alice, my wife of 42 years.  We have two boys, two daughters-in-law and two grand daughters.  I have not attended a reunion for the class of 1955 before, but I think this August may be the time.  I enjoyed seeing some familiar names on the class website and reading what you have been up to.  Send an e-mail or look us up if you come to DC.

I retired in May from Addison-Wesley Publishing (now Pearson Education) where I had worked for 26 years. I have a daughter, Cary, who married Michael Cuiccio in Tuscany, Italy, on Sept. 21, 2004. I have a son, Ted, who is married to Eileen Cousineau; they have two children, Grace age 3, and Ben age 1 1/2. I've been having fun spending time with them. We all went to Italy last month for Cary's wedding and had a great time.  I'm now working on the reunion committee for our 50th, next August 5, 6, & 7. Please plan to join us!

I live in Fl. with my guy of all times, Fred Longval class of 1953...Married 47 years.in Oct.03. Have 3 daughters Kathy, Susan, Diane. Have 3 grandchildren Michael, Rachael,and Jessica. Have 4 great grandchildren,Isabella age 4, Savannah age 3,Tyler age2, and T.J. age 1. I retired in 94 as Marketing Director of an attraction in Fl. Fred and I are busy with our extended family, love to cruise and go 2 or 3 times a year, and go to our summer place in Pa.for 3 0r 4 months. AFTER I GRADUATED I WENT A PG YEAR AND STARTED WORKING AT THE SHOE WHEN I GRADUATED. I WASN'T HAPPY THERE AND WENT BACK TO BEVERLY HIGH TAKING COLLEGE COURSES. THAT WAS ANOTHER MISTAKE. SHORTLY AFTER I JOINED THE NAVY.AFTER TWO YEARS SERVICE, I WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED. I HAD SPENT TWO YEARS IN THE RESERVES FIRST. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, I GOT MARRIED. THATS WHEN THE REAL FUN STARTED. AFTER WORKING SEVERAL JOBS I WENT TO COLLEGE NIGHTS.I GOT MY ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN 1966. I WENT ON FOR THREE MORE YEARS BUT HAD TO QUIT WHEN I TOOK A JOB OUT OF TOWN.I EVENTUALLY WOUND UP IN LEOMINSTER, MA. IN THE INJECTION MOLDING FIELD. I OWNED MY OWN BUSINESS FOR THE LAST 12 YEARS THERE.I SOLD THE BUSINESS AND MOVED BACK TO BEVERLY IN THE MIDDLE OF 2000.BEING AS YOUNG AS WE ALL ARE,I DIDN'T WANT TO JUST LOAF. I HAD BEEN COLLECTING RECORDS FOR YEARS, SO I DECIDED TO OPEN A USED RECORD STORE.I OWN A SMALL STORE ON RANTOUL STREET, CALLED CARMINE'S RECORDS AND ETC. I SELL RECORDS,CDS,CASSETTES AND ETC!
..I'M NOT MAKING MUCH MONEY, BUT IT'S FUN.I'VE BEEN MARRIED FOR 42 YEARS NOW. WE HAVE 4 CHILDREN AND 9 GRAND CHILDREN.COME ON DOWN AND VISIT.I'M LIVING IN MY MOTHERS OLD HOUSE ON FAYETTE STREET.

7/06 - SUNDAY AUGUST 4,  THERE WILL BE  THE BREAKFAST AT THE DANVERS PORT FOR THE OVER 50 YEAR CROWD. AFTER THE BREAKFAST, MY WIFE HELEN AND I WOULD LIKE TO HOST A POT LUCK, BYOB COOKOUT AT OUR HOME. ACTUALLY, HELEN WILL MAKE A LARGE LAZAGNA WITH MEATBALLS AND SAUSAGE. I WILL COOK HAMBURGS, HOTDOGS ETC. ON THE GRILL, SO MOSTLY IF YOU BRING ANYTHING, JUST PICKINGS AND DESERTS. 12/03--What a wonderful resource this is!  Married for 41 years to Vin (Bud) Bates.   We have one daughter and four sons, along with 2 grandsons and a granddaughter (with another granddaughter due in January).  We ve been retired since 1993 and spend part of the winter in Florida and part of the summer in New Hampshire.  A preliminary mailing was sent in early December to solicit ideas for our 50th reunion in 2005 and to update our mailing list.  Let me know if you didn t get that info.  We ve lost contact with some  55ers over the years.  I d welcome any addresses of those with whom you ve kept in touch, along with the names of any you know of who are deceased.   We ll be forming a committee soon.  If you are in the Beverly area, feel free to join us!  Peace and good health in the New Year.

11/04 - Based on your responses to our December, 2003, mailing, the reunion committee has planned the following activities for our 50th reunion:

A preliminary mailing with further details, including a questionnaire, will be sent out in November, 2004.  These events will be held during Beverly Homecoming Week, should you wish to take in some of those activities, as well (including a grand fireworks display Sunday evening, August 7).  We look forward to seeing you all in August!

10/05 - Can't believe we just celebrated our 50th high school reunion! Living in Framingham for the past 37 years and still in my own home. 3 Children (2 daughters, 1 son); 3 granddaughters, 1 granddog(also female).  Spend most of my time volunteering as a tour leader the local museum and doing grant writing,etc. for various nonprofits.  Love attending theatre, concerts, yoga and traveling as much as I can.

Just received my info on the 50th reunion and learned about this great website.  My husband (Bob) and I have been married 49 years as of 8/4/05 and are retired as of 2001. We split our time with 7 or 8 months in Maine on a nice lake and the rest of the time in Florida.  We love to travel, have all the grandchildren up to Maine for water fun, and play sports in Florida like Bocci, Shuffleboard, and yard sale shopping.
We have 4 children (2 girls & 2 boys) and 8 grandchildren (4 girls & 4 boys).  Enjoy them a lot.  Nice to read about everyone and sorry I couldn't be on the reunion committee again this year as we moved out of Massachusetts.

We have enjoyed watching our four grandchildren grow up. Somehow they seem like more fun than our own kids. We have enjoyed many wonderful trips since retiring in 1999 having most recently returned from Germany and Austria. Really enjoyed seeing so many of my classmates at the 50th reunion weekend some of which I had not seen or heard from since graduation day. What a ruxh that was.. What a wonderful  time for all three days of it. Still keep in touch with some classmates who live in the area. Would love to hear from any one eise in the class of 1955.

2/05 - Hi fellow graduates! Upon graduation I worked for the Murray Printing Company for 2 years, then the U.S. Coast Guard (aviation branch) for 4 years, DEW Line in Greenland for the Federal Electric Corp. 4 years, College of San Mateo (near San Francisco) 2 years, Raytheon Company as an Electronic Engineer, 2 years, then I went to work for the Gloucester Engineering Co. where I was the Electrical Departments Foreman and then the Manager of the Field Service Department, all this for 17 years, then Varian for 2 years, Vendor Surveillance Corp. 2 years and then started TIBBETTS ELECTRIC CO. which I still run after 20 years. Oh yeah, I did get married in 1972, have a great son Jason, 32 who is presently working the carpenter & roofing trade in Connecticut & daughter Molly, 30 who is an Interspace Designer at a Industrial Design Firm in Boston and after 17 years of marriage I was happily divorced (still am!). I enjoy camping with my 30 foot travel trailer and I used to enjoy skiing, sailing, scuba diving and a host of other activities, now I enjoy sitting on my deck on a sunny afternoon drinking a nice cold gin & tonic. I do enjoy volunteer work at this stage of my life with the Rose Baker Senior Center in Gloucester, the American Legion, Amvets and the Salisbury Point Railroad Historical Society in Amesbury. I still live in Gloucester, Mass. a great seaport town and continue to work as an electrician even though I will be 68 in June of 2005, life goes on and is good, what can I say!

I have retired from my work of 32 years and am now living in Los Lunas, NM. Los Lunas is about 30 miles south of Albuquerque, NM. I live with my wife Sharon who is originaly from Kittery, Me. We love it here and are very happy in our South West environment. We are active members of the Belen, NM 1ST United Methodist Church. I am involved with the Belen model railroad Club of which I am treasurer.

4/07 - I have returned to the east Coast from New Mexico after 5 years. I now live in Kittery Maine and have been here since 2003. It is great to see all the familiar names from 1955.

I am retired from Sylvania in Danvers for quite a few years now. I hate to admit how time passes. My children; Curtis, Lauren and Shari are all married and have their own children.  They still live in the Beverly area.
