After graduating from the Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT, I spent four years on weather patrol duty in the north Atlantic. Then it was thirty years at Electric Boat in Groton, CT, building nuclear submarines. After all that excitement, early retirement led to even more. Now I am 
busy acting as the curator of a machine shop museum, part of a farm museum in Colchester, CT. This is too complicated to explain here but more can be learned from our club s web site; www.QVEA.org . A look at the newsletters will give an idea of what I am doing.
