Schade, Addison Fenton - 1938
from the Boston Herald, 6/9/2005:
Addison Fenton Schade, 84, of Rockport, died June 4, 2005 at his residence
surrounded by his family, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Mary
S. (Sabine) Schade. Born in Norwood, December 6, 1920, Mr. Schade was the son of
the late William H. and I. Blanche (Fenton) Schade. He had resided in Beverly
since 1932 and was a graduate of Beverly High School Class of 1938. He attended
MIT for four years and enlisted in the United States Air Force during World War
II. Following his two and a half years in the service, he returned to MIT to
receive his degree in architecture in 1946. Mr. Schade had been employed as a
senior associate for many years by Campbell, Aldridge & Nulty in Boston. The
former St. Peter's High School, now the Milton L. Fuller School, was one of his
many projects of which he was very proud. He was also a longtime member of St.
John's Episcopal Church. Mr. Schade was the nephew of Irene Fenton Hammond and
John Hays Hammond Jr. and spent much of his youth in the Hammond Castle. He will
be sorely missed by family, friends and neighbors who loved him for his gracious
manner and wonderful sense of humor. In addition to his wife of 55 years, he is
survived by his children, William Sabine Schade of Seattle, Wash., Alan Fenton
Schade of Lancaster, Pa., Camilla Sabine Schade of Cayutaville, N.Y., and
Carolyn Fenton Cadigan and her husband, Rufus Cadigan, of Rockford, Ill.; a
nephew and two nieces, Randall "Nick" Pratt of San Diego, Calif., Irene Pratt of
Seattle, Wash. and B. Laurel (Pratt) Jones of Irishtown, Md. He was also the
brother of the late Irene Fenton (Schade) Pratt of Delaware. A memorial service
will be held Thursday, June 9 at 10 a.m. in St. John's Episcopal Church, 48
Middle St., Gloucester. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements are under the
direction of the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home of Gloucester. In lieu of flowers,

Walker, Ralph E
Family Email: bellvilla@aol.com
IN HIS MEMORY....Ralph passed away in 1998. He died while mowing his lawn. It
was instant, and without any warning. He always hoped that would be the way he would
go...
quickly! He got his wish. His family loved him dearly, and his passing was
traumatic. He served in the Navy in WW2, and worked most of his life at USMC (the
"Shoe"). His second and later-in-life career was that of a Machine Design
teacher at Lynn Vo-Tech. He loved the profession. He married his high school
sweetheart, Rita LeClair,(BHS Class of '41) in 1943, and they had three children, (all in
teaching), and one grandchild. They also had three step grandchildren, and three
step great grandchildren.
