Harrison, Hollis U

My father graduated in 1929. I donated some Aegis magazines to the high school in the last
few years that my father had saved. Maybe collectibles...He apparently enjoyed stagecraft.
My father died at the age of 57 in 1969, six weeks after I married. He married Evelyn Ruth
Perry of Beverly in 1940 and my mother died in 1998.

Married for 30 years, am a grand mother to three wonderful grandchildren,(so far) Work
full time as an office manager for a veterinarian. Enjoy camping in New Hampshire

Lawrence M. LaFleur (Bibba) is 92 and living with his daughter and wife of 66
years in Chester, NH. Lawrence lost his oldest son,Lawrence Jr., to cancer 5
years ago and his health has declined since. Lawrence has 5 children, 13
grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Lawrence spends his days sitting next
to Jane (Stone) reading and visiting.
10/08 - As of October 21, 2008 Lawrence M. LaFleur Sr. (Bibber) will be moving to the Veterans Home in Tilton, NH. Lawrence turned 93 in August and Jane, his wife is 92 and will remain in Concord as her health is stable as his declines due to Alzhiemers. They will celebrate their 67 wedding anniversary on December 26, 2008.

(McVey) Bartlett, Frances T

Beverly Citizen, 6/2/05:
Frances T. (McVey) Bartlett, 93, of Beverly, died May 30, 2005, at Beverly
Hospital. Born in Hamilton, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Lynch)
McVey, she was a graduate of Beverly High School in the Class of 1929. She had
lived in Beverly most of her life and in Pittsburg, N. H., for the past two and
a half years with her son. Mrs. Bartlett had been employed with the Law Office
of George Chansky for many years until her retirement in 1977. She was a member
of the Lothrop Club and was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. In
the past two years, she received great enjoyment from watching moose from her
window on her son's property. Mrs. Bartlett is survived by her son, Michael J.
Bartlett of Pittsburg, N.H.; and several nieces and cousins. She was the sister
of the late John, Catherine, Mary and Florence McVey and Margaret Cragen. Her
funeral will be held Friday, June 3 at 10:15 a.m. from the Campbell Funeral
Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. John
the Evangelist Church, Beverly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. The
family has requested no visiting hours. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery,
Beverly.

My mother graduated in 1931 and I know there are several friends of hers in her class that
are still alive. My aunts, the Perry girls, Dorothy, Mildred, and Edith are all still
alive and incredibly active and delightlful. Helen Perry Olson died in the 1990's

Bill Publicover led an orchestra called "Bill Publicover and his Blue Rose
Troubadours." Bill was my dad, and he died in 1947 at 36 yrs old. Does anyone have
any memories of his band, his music? Any photos to share? My mom, Ethel Betts Publicover,
was also BHS Class of 1929. She died in January of 1999. I'd love to hear from anyone who

Tremblay, Ernest

I am writing this about my father who I believe attended BHS and would have graduated
sometime around this year. He was born in 1911 and died some time ago. His last name may
have been Kenny/Kenney as Tremblay was an adopted name from his mother's second marriage.
He had a brother Harry and sister Lil, both of whom moved at some point to Harrisburg Pa.
I have very little early information about my father and would welcome any help. Thanks.
